The Process

Squarespace website design packages are created to get your site to where you want it to be with an organized creative process. With transparent timing and pricing, you can make sensible decisions for your business based on your budget, and on how much time and resources you have to dedicate to your part of the project. Here’s how it works:

  • Let’s have a half hour conversation and see if it makes sense for us to work together! This is a no-pressure, no-obligation meeting during which we'll ask you to share your goals and resources for your website, and we'll share our experience with what you’re looking for. If we decide we’re a match, we’ll progress to step 2.

  • If we decide to work together, you’ll receive a contract agreement to review, sign, and return with a 50% deposit for your package (and any add-ons.) Once the deposit is received, your project will be secured on our calendar with a clear start date and dedicated calendar time.

  • You’ll receive an outline and a questionnaire. The outline will detail the resources we are each responsible for gathering or creating before your site build can begin. The questionnaire is designed for us to understand your business and your goals as we begin sketching out ideas for your site.

  • We’ll discuss how best to achieve our goals for your content within the timeline, and we'll give you an easy to follow guide with copy prompts and image requirements.

  • The visual part of the creative process begins! At the first draft stage, we’ll see how close we are to what you were envisioning, and any adjustments we need to make.

  • Our guide will give you tips for how to efficiently and thoroughly review initial drafts for the best possible results as we head into the next two revision cycles. It’s important for you to save some space on our timeline during this stage for us to stay on the agreed upon timeline.

  • At this stage you are hopefully excited to launch the new version of your site and share it with the world. We have just a couple more steps to go!

  • We'll take you on a one-hour tour of your site to show you how to make changes and updates. If you’d rather focus on your business and leave future updates to us, we offer a monthly website update package. (Details below.)

  • For a $250 monthly fee, you can sign up for an ongoing maintenance contract. Continuously updating your site with relevant and appealing content is one of the top ways to improve your SEO. And, you’ll get the peace of mind that comes from knowing we will continue to be available for any changes you need in the future, with contracted maintenance given priority scheduling.
